Two new features came in to version 2.30.1 that give you greater control over how benefit selections are managed and confirmed.

Tenant Windows

Previously, enrolment windows had to be configured individually for each benefit. Tenant Windows allows you to define a single set of windows at tenant level that can be shared across multiple benefits — removing the need to set and maintain the same window dates repeatedly across your benefit catalogue.

Once enabled, a new "Tenant Windows" window type becomes available when configuring a benefit. Any benefit set to use this type will automatically follow the windows you've defined centrally. You can switch a benefit between its own specific windows and tenant windows at any time, without affecting existing enrolments or previously created windows.

Lifestyle windows continue to work as normal and will always take priority over tenant or benefit-level windows. Auto enrolment and auto renew are also unaffected.

This feature is particularly useful for organisations running annual flex windows across a large number of benefits, as it means window dates only need to be updated in one place.

Benefit Modelling

Benefit Modelling introduces a basket-style confirmation step to the enrolment journey. When enabled, benefit selections are initially saved with a "Modelling" status rather than being enrolled immediately. Users can review all of their selections together before committing, and must actively confirm before any selection is locked in.

Users manage this process via the My Benefits > Modelling page, where they can review pending selections and either confirm or — if configured to allow it — cancel individual choices before finalising.

Key points for administrators:

  • Benefits requiring authorisation follow the same approval process, with a "Modelling Awaiting Authorisation" status before admin sign-off.
  • On the day a benefit selection activates, any unconfirmed (modelling) selections are automatically cancelled, while confirmed selections move to enrolled status.
  • The modelling journey is fully configurable — you can define the content shown at each stage, add custom stages, and control whether users can confirm or cancel selections individually or all at once.

This feature is well suited to organisations that want to give employees time to review their full basket of benefit choices before committing, reducing the likelihood of post-enrolment change requests.
